This Balcony Replacement project retains the existing history iron brackets and cantilevered joist. The scope of this project is ONLY the balcony and does not include any interior work or storefront renovation. Engineering testing was completed to determine the iron brackets cantilevered joist can be retained. Structural indications were to have a lightweight canopy over the balcony due to the unconfirmable status of the clay tile portions of the front elevations upper wall.
